bluetooth module "could be damaged", but also iphone may be incompatible now with its new updates. Have any friends with an iphone? Try and get them connected. Determine if its either the car of the phone

My sister's phone still works on the bluetooth so I don't think it is damaged. Do I have to delete the old phones in order to have the bluetooth module recognize mine and my husband's phone?
