Default Temperature Indicator Right side goes blank

Driving today I noticed the Passenger side temperature indicator was out. Moving the temp select buttons sometimes the display will start to work. This is on both the Nav Screen and control panel.

Was wondering if anyone else has seen this problem. And what it took to fix it.

I think it does that when passenger seat is vacant.

If its supposed to be blank when there is no passenger. It wouldn't come back on if you adjust the temperature. Which it does.

I think mikemu30 is right, in your pic the S-Flow button is lit up, so no flow to a vacant passenger seat. Then when you adjust it, it overrides the S-Flow. Turning that feature off for good was one of the main reasons I bought Carista.

Appears it is a ‘feature’ with the disappearing digits

It does this If the setting is on dual as it doesn't send any air to the pax side unless someone is sitting there. It's operating correctly!

S-Flow (Split flow) HVAC is triggered by the Air Bag Off sensor in the passenger seat.
Note in the photo that the orange light is glowing. Minor improvement in MPG by lessening
the A/C because of reduced flow the the rear seats and passenger seat.

I knew I had seen this fairly often but didn't connect it with the sflow setting. Just knew that whenever it happened, I was the only one in the car.

Learn something new today. I drive alone 95 percent of the time. So I have the S-Flow Driver on most of the time. Never noticed the indicator being out till the other day.

Thanks for the help
