Terrible audio quality w/ Android Auto
New to these forums, been around others (primarily SupraForums) forever.
Picked up a 2020 RX 350 F Sport yesterday, replacing my GS 350 F Sport. When using Bluetooth audio, the sound is pretty killer with the Mark Levinson upgrade. However, when I plugged the phone in to use the Android Auto feature, suddenly the bass was basically gone. The whole audio system sounded like trash. I unplugged the phone and went back to Bluetooth audio and it again sounded great.
I've done tons of searching and it seems like this is not an isolated incident. It has happened on many other makes and models also. The problem is, I cannot seem to find a fix (other than not using Android Auto).
I'm using a Galaxy S9+. Anyone else experience this and potentially find a solution? Thanks in advance!

Tonight I tried to reproduce the problem, first with a Moto G6 phone, and then again with the Galaxy S9+, and while using Android Auto navigation using Google Maps. I could not break it. The sound was beautiful when using Android Auto, and the Lexus sound controls were working. I could adjust the bass and the fader. So I am stumped.
I am hoping that different people who encounter the sound problem when using Android Auto will contribute information and try to isolate the specific configuration/usage that causes the sound problem. Please let us know in this forum.

I bought a RX450h last month and finally found a solution for this :')
1. Connect your phone to android auto.
2. Press "Menu" and go to "Audio"
3. Make sure the "Source" is Android Auto and then select the "Sound" tab
4. Modify the equalizer to your liking
Every source has it's own equalizer, and the equalizer for android auto is available only when it's connected and selected as the audio source. Hope this helps
