Yea that’s the old one I already did as well. I’m talking about the 0032-19 one.

Has anyone been able to get a copy of the actual TSB?

I emailed my Lexus Service Manager (a really good one) with the TSB number and the copy of the work order. He just emailed me back that the TSB was new to him, and that it must be brand new. He said he would be glad to do it to both my 2016, and 17. I won't do it until their regular service in November/December, but I am so happy to know that Lexus is continuing to address the problem. I sure hope that it works.

Sad to report that I dont sense much if any difference. Make me wonder if the TSB was applied properly. I still get way too fast upshifts and then jerky downshifts when simply trying to accelerate smoothly. Just like the first update, I had a placebo effect of oooh, somethings different, and then I realized, it's not different. False hope for me, but I hope it works differently for others. Does anyone have documentation on how to properly disconnect the battery and reset the car? Might try this at home later.

I didn’t have the TSB, just the the little part of a receipt from a previous poster. Thanks much GSFRX359 for posting the TSB.

I surely hope that this TSB does some good. We already have a negative report from s4iscool, as well as a good report. Only with more experience, as folks apply this TSB, will we know if it is a true fix.

I'm in for the updated TSB tomorrow and I'm also getting the TSB for drone.
I'll report after driving for a few days.

After reading the new TSB - thanks to GSFRX350 - it is interesting to note that, different from the last TSB, a battery reset is not required. It is also not required by the referenced Toyota T-SB-0134-16 titled Techstream ECU Flash Reprogramming Procedure. Very curious.

DMPeso, I spoke with the senior Tech at my local dealer yesterday and he will load 0032-19 into my 2016 RX350 tomorrow. He said that it is "for bucking in 1st to 2nd gear upshifts and controlling surge between 0-46 MPH". I am hoping it will be noticeably better. I will report back on the Forum.

Hi all. Just came back from Lexus of Northborough in Ma. I have a 2018 RX with that "bucking" tranny and the drone noise. Because they could not feel and hear anything, they refused to do any of the TSB's. I am ripped! This tranny takes of like a bucking jet when leaving my driveway with giving a slight amount of gas. I have to let up on the gas to control it or I'll be doing 60 mph in no time. I even gave them the TSB numbers, yet they still refused to do anything. But...... they say they want to "work with me"! If they want to work with me, then why won't they do what I asked them to do! I even left the car overnight with them. They still could not hear or feel anything. I wish that there was a site to rate dealerships, this place would fail ten fold! This is the worse Lexus I have ever owned in the 25 yrs that I have had a Lexus. This is not acceptable!

Wow this is bad, call Lexus’ main number and tell them you have a TSB for your VIN you want to apply. If it comes up under your VIN they HAVE TO apply it. Submit a complain about the dealer and say your not happy with their service. They will follow through. Also leave ever bad review you can, yelp and google. It helps. If the hesitation TSB comes up under your VIN they have to apply it

the hesitation I don’t have as much anymore but the bucking I did notice when the engine is just started and leaving my driveway once I pull onto the street to drive off it’s hard to control the speed, I definitely notice the bucking as well, but it’s not all the time

Can you reproduce the bucking when you drive it? Did you ask one of the techs to come for a ride with you so you could reproduce it for them?

Exactly what I was about to post! So many posters on here get the old "we can't reproduce the problem, so have a nice day". If your car's problem is fairly consistent, arrange a ride with service tech/manager etc. You drive, he/she rides in the passenger seat and when the problem pops up, make very sure they notice it. Rinse and repeat if necessary.
If you get the "they all do that" excuse, ask to drive another car similar to yours and repeat the above procedure. If in fact they all do that, then you're stuck.

Just got mine taken care at Herb Chambers in Sharon, MA today. I gave them them the number of the bulletin on Monday, and they made and appointment. They asked me for the symptoms when I got there, which was bucking between 1st-2nd gears, and hesitation 0-45. They wrote it down, did the update in 90 minutes and sent me on my way. They said it was covered under warranty for powertrain. The car behaves differently and I am cautiously optimistic. They are a good dealership, why don't you try them?

PWMDMD, the bucking seems to be only when the car is first started in the morning and leaving the driveway with a light throttle. The dealership cannot make it happen because they are on a very busy 4 lane road, which is rt 9, so you cannot leave their place without hitting the gas to move with traffic. This is why maybe they can't produce the bucking, your going too fast in the first place. So, they should be telling me this instead of refusing to apply the TSB.
Common sense you think????
