i just went by my dealer for you and talked to the tech that did my car. He said the bulletin doesn’t even go by vin it goes by Ecu software number and only their computer can verify that. You need to go to your dealer and get in front of a person with the tsb number l-sb-0032-19. Tell them your car hesitates and you want the software update from that bulletin. Make them show you the print out of your “health check” it will show if your software is up to date or not. The bulletin covers 2016-2019 Rx 350
I really appreciate that. I made an appointment for squeaking in the rear over bumps and chirping at idle so I will see if they can pull it up when I’m there but the way nobody can find it, highly doubt it
Sounds like you have the rear trailing arm squeak issue as well. Just got that done a couple days ago, now off to the software! There might be hope for this car after all!
Wow, just wow - going by the experiences here some dealers shouldn't be servicing Lexus vehicles. How can they not find a Service Bulletin, you guys even have a number and they still can't find it yet other dealers have no issues at all. Just shows you really need to know your stuff as a customer because dealers could be telling you anything and you really don't know if they can be trusted to provide correct information or not.
Plus what do they actually do when servicing, do they actually do what they say they do, people who have no idea with cars (my mother-in-law comes to mind) would have no idea - she could drop off the car at 8.00 leave it all day and come back at 5.00, pay 100's of dollars and the car may well have just sat all day in the car park.
Just got it back. Haven’t put enough miles on it yet but so far so good.
Thank you!!! This is what I wanted now I can finally show them something that proves this TSB seven exists. I will mention to them to check the rear trailing arm.

After thinking about this, perhaps they're looking only for TSBs relating to your VIN. This one could be fairly new and they don't know all the vehicles it would pertain to.
Just look for the TSB itself.

They couldn’t locate the TSB by itself either that’s what’s driving me nuts

While I can't find this one, I noticed almost all Lexus TSBs begin with L-SB-xxxx-xx, NOT 5B. Typo?

Yes if you see my pic, it is 5B. After driving the car this morning, the improvements are not dramatic but I think it’s a little better. I expected the car to drive like the 2018 and 19 loaners but it still falls short of their shift patterns. Will give mine more time to assess.

The poster in post 1066 says his receipt shows it as SB. I think the 5B is a typo.
