Quote: The top one is supposingly for the TSB. They didn't replace the trailer arm for suspension problem either, they just lubed it again and hope it would be fine until warranty expires.
I literally opened the TSB and read to them word by word, they said I shouldn't have access to the TSB and it is inappropriate for the service advisor to tell me there is a TSB available.
Which one did you read them - the TSB for rear suspension noise (L-SB-0030-19), or the TSB for hesitation while shifting (TSB 0032-19). Do you have another Lexus dealer that you can get to? Even if you have to drive for a couple of hours to get there, it might be worth it. If you do, call the Service Manager and tell them what you are going through with the rear suspension noise, and the bucking when shifting. I drive for 1 1/2 hours to get to a good Lexus shop, and I have never had a bad experience. They have done every TSB that I have asked for, and even changed engine mounts on their own.

That's insulting. Gotta find another dealer.

TSBs are publicly available, and it is certainly in your best interest as a consumer to be aware of them.
Sounds like you need to find another dealer....

Quote: Pretty sure it is due to the transmission mapping as if you put your RX in sport mode where the RPMs stay higher there is no hesitation.
Yep. While driving in town I switch to sport mode. Solves the hesitation.

I put mine in Sport each and every time I get in, no matter what type of driving I'm going to do. Never noticed any change in mpg, but it drives so much better. I just wish it would stay in Sport when I shut it off.

Normal mode is fine with me, I find that it kicks too hard when in sport mode.

I’m experiencing the same thing everyone has been talking about in this thread on my new to me 2017 RX350 Luxury package. I got rid of my Jeep because of this and the RX is far worse. Can’t believe it. I’ll be taking it in to have them address this.

Unfathomable that Lexus experience is worse than a Jeep, right? Sorry to hear that and welcome to the club.

Purely due to wanting a better fuel economy figure for marketing and it can be offset somewhat with driving techniques.

Thank you! Yes, very surprised to find this with the RX. I have a 2010 RX and 2013 GS and both have no issues when it comes to the transmission. When I test drove this RX it didn’t show any signs but after owning it for a few days it started to show up and now it’s pretty bad. Hesitates at take off and seems lost trying to select a gear. I even feel a hard shift around that 40-50mph mark when coming to a stop. Sport mode helps tremendously but isn’t perfect either.

Be sure and get them to do TSB L-SB-0032-19. It has helped correct this problem.

Thank you, I will. I have an appointment to take it in Friday. They will do the GPS location/ coordinate recall, the AC gurgling sound that I hear and this. Turns out there is a TSB for that as well.

Frequent hesitations and surges ...

Our 2018 RX 350 AWD with 12,000 miles has had the hesitations and surging issues since day one. It's getting worse. I have taken the RX in the Lexus dealer 3 times and dealer has insisted there's NO TSB issued to address this issue. The only fix they know of to minimize this issue is to set the drive mode **** from ECON to either NORMAL or SPORT. It's "better" in those 2 modes but the problem is still there. I have never owned a Lexus with such an issue. I cannot get a printout of this TSB L-SB-0032-19 to see what it says. Can someone post it on this board? Thanks.
