Console lid opening

Console lid opening
Anyone got a fix or hack to allow the console lid between the seats to open further? Right now it’s comical how hard it is to get in there for me since the lid only opens 45 degrees. Even 90 degrees would be better.Getting stuff out of there while driving is impossible for me.

Mine opens a full 90 degrees. Possibly something stuck that stops it from opening completely?

I must have the same witchcraft. Mine goes to vertical. 2015 here

Mine goes up a little more than 90 degrees, and it stays up when I let go. Yours must be broken, who would design it like that.

Hmmmmm.....Its not broken just poor design. Any other 2010 owners out there with the same lid design issues?

Try to slide it forward and backward, and then lift it. It slides forward to cover the seat heater controls and the coin tray.

Oh I know. It’ll slide forward and backward all day. It’s just when you lift it up it only opens to 45°.

Same 45 degrees on a 2010 and I am sure that is all it will do.
