I'm driving my "new to me" 2011 RX and have noticed that my console trays slide back and forth during spirited acceleration or deceleration. It makes an annoying clunk both ways. I didn't notice this the first few days of driving and trying to figure out if maybe I don't have them snapped in all the way or backwards or something. Anyone else have this and do something about it? I'm sure I can figure out some felt tape or other solution.
Yes, I have 2 trays that rest on top of the removable bin. One is narrow and the other is more square shaped. They both slide back and forth very easily so you can get to whatever is below.

Did you try gently pushing the trays down. They could be floating.
I checked mine out... I guess they're a little different. I have the 2014 and only have 1 tray. I noticed that it slid around unless I had it pushed all the way forward and pushed down. The tray does have felt on both sides. Seems like it just barely is enough to hold it.
I'd make sure the trays are in the right order and in the correct spots They may have a spot each one needs to be in before they'll hold. Then make sure the're pushed down. If they're still sliding, you could check the condition of the felt and see if you might need to add some more.
