these mods are good for -1 HP. please forgive the car being a little dirty. the grille was wrapped in black vinyl from avery. it's not the best job, but i like the look. i may practice some more on some other pieces and give it another go. the emblems are plastidip. i will likely wrap the chrome piece on the trunk lid at some point to continue the theme.
I'm a little late to this thread given that I'm a recent owner. How much would you recommend buying to do the grille and rear hatch lid? Is this difficult?
Plasti Dip is crazy easy. I had done my f-150, grill, tires, decals, running boards, and handles in one day. My kids even helped me. Here is a link http://www.f150forum.com/f38/plastid...gs-out-124866/. Have fun!!

Thanks prmdc1 for the link, but I'm actually more interested in the black vinly from Avery for the outer part of the grille and rear hatch lid given that it's not permanent but I have to say the pastidip is good solution if you want to change the badges without buying a whole new set. If their's a finish that could simulate the black pearl badges that Sewell sells I might think about in the future but right now I don't want to do anything that's permanent.
