Super easy to install, took about 10 minutes.

Nice. Great start. Looks like the stock one just minus the badge.

Yeah I had the option of chrome, black chrome, and a painted grey. I chose the black chrome version. Now I just hope the PCS radar thingy will be safe. GATO said he's been running this kinda grill and his PCS is fine.

Looks great. I been thinking about making that same change on my car. I am not into emblems of any kind. Who did you get it from and what was cost if you don't mind sharing the info?

Yuck. It looks like the car was in accident and was repaired by a cheapskate using a generic cheap aftermarket plastic grill.

That was the dumbest post I ever saw on CL. GTFO

Looks good with the new grill

well after looking at the pics i thought it was a very nice classy touch.. i am interested in how this affects the pcs, keep me or us posted on this please... no pcs errors yet??

then i read the ugly comment i can kinda see how someone would think this. my mother and some of my older co-workers would prolly say the same if i did this... but then again i am not doing my mods to appease them. some would say that changing your wheels from oem to anything non-oem is also in the same category, but i like my rims, grills, and body kits thank you very much

Certainly everyone has the right to his opinion and perspective - differing perspectives are one of the things that makes the forum more valuable. Its valuable to hear all sides. But I think the comment could have been stated a little more gently and still made the point.

I personally think the replacement grill looks very good, clean and streamlined, and not cheap at all, at least in the picture. Like I said I don't like emblems and brand marks so I'd happily remove all Lexus plates from my car if there was an attractive and inexpensive alternative.

There's a local wholesaler that sells these, they had tons in stock when I was over there yesterday.

No PCS errors and I used my cruise control a few times to be sure the radar was working...worked just like normal.

PM'd you Jabberwock

The OEM grill is made out of the exact same material.

Personally, I don't mind if people recognize that my car is a Lexus. I changed my grill out and replaced it with a chromed one but OEM design. I also realize some people don't like chrome.

Each person has to be happy with his car and consequently whatever makes them happy. However, if you ask for opinions then you must be ready to accept them.

Perhaps the original post was just to inform people of what was available.
