i notice that some symbols are showing up on the dashboard (triangle, ABS and the Slippery ) together with 3 messages are displayed on dashboard ( CHECK ABS,CHECK LEVELING HEARDLIGHTS and check AWD).
Does anyone know what is happening ?
Your 12 volt battery is probably ready to be replaced due to the cold weather speeding up its demise. Low voltage from a dying battery makes many different seemingly random warning lights and codes appear as the sensors are very sensitive to low voltage. A battery can die at any time, no matter how new or old.
So get your battery tested. The big chain Auto parts stores will test for free and if its bad sell you and install a new battery for you.
We have a 2010 RX350 had it since summer. These errors would pop up and go away. I would check gas cap and seemed fine otherwise. Last Friday car wont start. Cranked but no Fire. Tried to Jump No luck. Removed battery went to Autozone for replacement. Installed. After a few tries started up. Random errors come and go still. Has been fine Sunday and Monday This am no start again I went and tried it and it started fine . I backed out of garage and let it warm up. Turned on and off a few times . Now it is not starting again. Im thinking lose wires? where to start poking ? Battery and Gas cap bad ? The car runs and drives great with or with out the lights on. This is my first post so Im Grateful for any answers I receive. Happy Trails

Intermittent problems are hard to diagnose, but if a random approach is taken, it adds to the confusion instead of helping.
Gas cap issue should lead to CEL plus code, but typically it does not create start problems.
When jump does not work and if you don't have deadfalls then new battery will not help.
I would suggest invest time in learning or finding the right person to diagnose.
Thanks for the quick response
Yes I have a good Guy to take care of it tomorrow.
He has all the tools and such.
I had someone check the Brake lights, moved it in and out of gear , .
I am thinking the Starter may be sticking or the wires are crispy bits for rodents.
I just remembered my 2000 RX300 would require a hammer to the starter sometimes.
Im gonna go try that now .
Update in a Bit Thank you

I had the Pro load the codes and such and many were there. New brake sensor fixed the start issue. New cam sensor was also sending codes. The car seems OK but still has the main computer fault code. My guy says his scanner won't clear it and a trip to dealer will be in order. I am dreading the trip so seeing if any advice on what might happen. Can they refresh a computer? Any similar situations?
Thanks in advance
How/why did brake sensor fix no-start issue? Sounds strange connection.
the push button needs to know that the brake is pressed down to let the engine start. Having someone check the brake lights from behind can rule it out. New computer was required to erase codes.
I gather what you mean is a *different* computer was needed in order to get rid of the codes. I can't imagine spending huge sums to replace a computer when all you need to do is to clear codes in memory.
