Default RX350 Front Rotor bolts

Does anyone know what size bolts I need, to remove the front rotors? I tried searching and couldn't find anything for the RX but other Lexus models seem to use 8mm bolts.

Also, if I had my rotors turned, would it matter what kind of lathe I used? And what is the minimum thickness for the front rotors?

Thanks

I had a write up for brakes. Check it out. Also if you search "brakes," lots of info.

Are you referring to the caliper bolts? If so, I believe they are a 19mm. As for turning the lathe should not matter if you are having a brake shop doing the work. The minimum rotor thicness you can look it up in the owners manual. Get yourself a big braker bar to help loosen them up. Spray them with some oil first to help.

I don't have an owner's manual, that's the reason I'm on this forum. I used to have AllDataDiy.com for the RX but not anymore (if I remember correctly the minimum was 18mm) I'm asking about the bolts that go into two empty holes on the hub/rotor mating surface. They help you get the rotor off.

Like the holes circled in red here. (this is from an LS400 brake guide)

The guide suggested 8mm bolts, I read in another thread where someone suggested to use the 12mm bolts from the Radiator support.

18mm is almost comparable to the socket size for lug-nuts [25.4mm ~ 1"]. 8mm is more likely to be the right size. Unless you have rust on the hub, the rotor should practically fall off.

I meant the minimum thickness of the front brake rotors is 18mm (if I recall correctly), not the size of the bolts. Thanks

Minimum thickness may be stamped on the rotor rim (rusty part).

Even though I was excluded by "any one else" ... Standard is 28mm and min in 26mm.

After more research, I figured the bolts I need are 8mm by 1.25mm(pitch). Thanks for the info, salimshah

Also, does anyone know the torque specs for the caliper-bracket bolts and the smaller caliper bolts?
