Default Think about an RX

Hey guys,

My parents have been thinkin about an RX for awhile now and they finally decided it was time to probably get rid of my moms GS and upgrade to something newer. My dad wants to get my mom a fully loaded RX with navi and all those goodies. What year do u guys recommend? i heard that 04-05's have some transmission problems so i kinda wanns stay away from those. Itll most likely be a daily for my mom driving my sister to school and goin grocery shopping. My dad was thinkin more of a 350.
What do u guys recommend?

Definitely 2007+ CPO or new 2010. The 3.5 beginning in 2007 is much peppier and gets better mpg. Is Sirius/XM is a concern get that added in with the price cause they didn't come standard with it from the factory.

Sirius/XM is not that big of a concern. my dad just really wants a 350 AWD with navi.

I bought a 2008 RX350 with navigation and AWD. I like the vehicle BUT there are rattles in the car which make me crazy. First was a plastic shield under the driver's side that rattles @ 65 MPH and then another rattle directly over my head next to the sunroof. There is a TSB to correct the rattle under the driver's side and last week the dealer removed the entire headliner to correct the rattle over my head.

But really; a car of this caliber with rattles???

Our 2009 has never had a rattle. Our old 2004 was just the opposite, the dash rattle never was fixed 100%.

My 2007 RX-350 has never had a rattle. I have owned it since June 2006. Have 19000 miles and continue to love it. Had to replace the battery under warranty after 3 yrs. Great vehicle!! It drives and rides better than the '10 RX loaner I drove while mine was being serviced. Could not be happier. By the way I am a senior owner. Go for it and good luck.
