Default Driver's door window switch

Looks like we need a driver's door window switch. I am shocked to see it's $1,500CAD and even $957CAD from Rock Auto. Anyone know if there's a fix for these switches?

Junkyard?

I don't know of a fix, but maybe you can find some leads here: https://www.toyotanation.com/threads...32102/#replies

I compiled a list of every car that uses these switches in one form or another. If they are compatible or not, that I am not sure. However, I wouldn't be surprised if they were

We don’t know your symptoms. What seems to be the problem?
Maybe you don’t need a switch after all.
I will assume that driver window opens and passenger/back windows don’t. You need to retrain each window by lowering and raising it from its own door switch. After that, all four can be controlled from the driver door switch.

i didn't write the OP, but you solved my problem! Thank you saving me a ton of money!

My next task is to fix the nonfunctional seat heaters. I'm going to start with checking the fuse. Never had 'em before, not sure I miss 'em.

After that, it's the broken antennae which means I don't get my AM talk shows. Nothing urgent.

Don't want to hijack this thread Joyous... i faced a long tenuous seat heater challenge go do a search under my name here OR private mesage me I can steer you in the right direction on how to diagnose it to see if it is the element or something upstream. If it is the seat heater module I have a spare here

Thanks Leeper. I see comments where owners can tell that there's power going to the seat heaters. I don't even know how to do that. Many thanks, and I will search your posts.
