Sometimes when I press the driver's door window switch the window will go down part way and stop or go all the way down. I then press the switch to go back up, but it doesn't respond. If I keep fiddling with it, it finally goes back up. Any ideas on what is causing this? Is it possible to buy the window switch?

 

The switch is part of a control unit. There are some threads about replacing the relay on the control unit.

I had similar problem couple years ago. After replacing the relay, that fixed it. I got it from Amazon.

I got the relay but I am thinking of getting a switch assembly at PnP so I can put that in there while I fix the original unit. If I do that will everything still work if the switch assembly is good from PnP. Right now, it seems like all my projects take a few days to do due to more projects than time.
