Replacement Key
Hello Everyone,
I need help with getting a replacement key or just the plastic housing for the key. I called my local dealer and they are pricey. which I expected. I would like to see if there is another option for getting a key. This is a key remote. Any and all suggestions are welcome.
Thank you,

If you have the remote buttons, you can buy one from Amazon for like $7. However, they sell you the the metal key and casing as one piece so you have to find a dealership or somewhere that will cut it. 3rd party locksmiths were expensive ($250/key), so I drove 120 miles to get mine cut at a Lexus dealership ($25/key). Best of luck to you!

I found a local lock smith that has aftermarket key/shells and that could cut them for $40.00. None of the local dealers had a cutting machine. The closest one to me would have been Atlanta. Glad i found the lock smith. It saved me a two hour drive from Chattanooga and 20 bucks.

Wow got a 2 pack of key shells for 4.95 on ebay and went to ace hardware and they cut them for free! About 7 miles round trip and I just swaped the guts and I was in my way for less than 5$ and the key is almost a year old and works great! Sorry you guys had to pay to get it cut
