Quick Help!

Got the trans and front diff draining. I did not find a washer for the diff plug. Is there supposed to be one there??

My RX is FWD so it did not apply.

The GS and SC have a crush washer. Usually they are left attached to the diff and slight nudge with a flat screwdriver takes it off.

Wipe the thing dry and you will see it either left on the Diff or the plug.

I'm refering to draining the ATF from the front diff, pictured here. I don't think I see a washer in this pick either. If there is supposed to be one I think it will be a flat aluminum one like the pan plug has.

It's similar to the one on the pan, but has a magnet on the other end. I don't recall mine every having a washer on it.

I have been calling them front and rear differentials, transmission and transfer case. I always thought transaxle referred to the transmission/differential as a unit. What is the proper terminology over here?? As long as we are all on the same page it really does not matter.
