After some research it appears on the lexus parts website the calipers are compatible between base/track rcf. I went ahead and just ordered the girodisc kit from rr-racing. I already had 4 stainless steel brake lines on order from Figs.

Is there a way to request an admin to move this to the build threads section of the forum as this is what this has become?

This is what room in the wheel wheel looks like with 295/30R18 in the front. At full steering angle. Slight rubbing on the inner liner but I will never have that kind of angle.

The RCF TE has 14.9 inch rotors front and back. The factory RCF has a smaller diameter rear rotor, 13.2 I believe. Are you sure the calipers are the same?

They look different. Likely will need to get calipers.

I highly recommend the team at The Driveway as well. They completely updated my IS350, including full suspension overhaul, exhaust and intake install, refinishing wheels and new tires, new F-sport brake install, rear spoiler paint/install, replacing all the wheel well panels, installed LED into the dash gauges, cf wrap install on interior pieces, oil change, 100k suspension tightening and I know I'm forgetting some items. Great team and made the lengthy process enjoyable.

What did you end up doing? So the calipers between TE/Fuji and regular RCF are different in the rear?

It's 380mm all around for the rotors

You can get all the RCF TE stuff online, including the same rear calipers.

So TE calipers are the same as regular rcf calipers? I don't think thats true

I cannot find anyone who makes the TE rear brake pads

Another member said it's related to the lotus evora but no one has confirmed anything yet

Might end up having to go OEM

Nothing done in this regard yet. I've had RR girodisc rotors laying here for a good 3 months now. Other projects have kept me away from doing this. I've been browsing for a set of calipers to attempt the swap but may have to buy them new from the dealership. Will post measurements and details when I get to it.

Post whatever measurements you have already

I will get ceramic rotors and pads made for us

I just ordered a set for the tesla plaid, 6850$ for all four carbon ceramic rotors and pads

Considerably less than the 20k$ tesla wants....

how does those Tom’s chassis enhancements work for you?

Also picked up a used invidia catback and ordered grimmspeed gaskets for the downpipe connection but am debating selling it as I will likely want the catted midpipe from RR-racing when supercharging with headers to avoid ending up with a yellow bumper.

Just by looking at the previous owner's gaskets I can tell there was at least a minor leak on one of the downpipes gaskets. Maybe not enough to throw a code but enough for me to be concerned.

One of the wheels:

I think I would've preferred a matte black TE37 but these will do for now and nothing beats in-stock local pickup cash in hand tax-free price. Also ordered a set of titanium locking lug nuts from jdcustomsusa.com. They look cool but will also reduce rotating mass.
