Invidia Exhaust
Purchased an Invidia Q300 exhaust for my 2016 RCF- Check engine light came on reading 420 BANK 1 CATALYTIC CONVERTER.I know there has to be a fix for this and would appreciate anyones input TY
Same mistake that is very common place. The gaskets that came with the exhaust are installed incorrectly. The size difference between front and rear gaskets is very little that came with the exhaust. If you install the rears ones in the back and vice versa, you will get a CEL since there could be a leak. The gaskets need to be installed properly.
Mash that search button, the fix has been discussed in several threads. Short answer, the 3" gasket goes on the front and you need to take the effort to ensure they stay centered on the flange. The 2.75" gasket goes in the mid-pipe.
New OEM gaskets may work also. The main issue is that the Invidia has a 3" flange at the front and manifold opening is 2.5" so care must be taken to center up any gasket you use.

This has been covered many times, but there are many conflicting posts. You almost definitely have an exhaust leak right before the O2 sensors are located. I installed the Invidia exhaust myself about 20 months ago and have had no issues. Make sure you use the larger gasket in the front and make sure the gaskets are centered when you tighten them. I also smoothed out the header side where the exhaust attaches so it was nice and smooth for the new flat gasket.
Some say to use the OEM gasket, but you would really really need to be careful to get it lined up properly.
I love the sound of the Invidia. It sounds even better now than when I installed it.

From what I recall that's correct. It was pretty obvious which ones went where when you held them up to the exhaust. You do need to make sure the surfaces are nice and clean and then center the gasket while you tighten the bolts. I installed the entire exhaust without tightening anything, then I started at the front of the car and worked back ensuring the gaskets were centered. That worked for me.

Everything that I've read states that the OEM gaskets are not the right ones to use because there is no recessed area for them to sit into like the OEM exhaust. I could understand using OEM gaskets if the flanges are the same but they aren't. I think one would actually be asking for more trouble in the long run using a gasket that doesn't fit properly to the flange/base of the pipe.
I should have my invidia this week. I've never used any other gaskets with aftermarket exhausts other than the gaskets that have come with them and never experienced leaks or issues. I think in a lot of cases people don't make sure things get lined up and they just bolt on the pipe and the gaskets get shifted around which causes a leak.

Did you go with the titanium? What is your ETA?
Is the invidia exhaust titanium? The TE / Fuji already have titanium cat back, and from what I read the piping (mid pipe) on invidia is stainless steel?
My info might be wrong

The tips extending out from the muffler are Titanium. However, the muffler and piping is all stainless steel.
I got mine installed last Fri (by Tommy @ music box in SoCal). No CEL's. And it sound sic! I thought it was kinda quiet at first, but I guess it just needed to break in a bit. Now it sounds mean when in sport+. But also quiet when cruising in eco. The start up pop is fire.
