Default Rev match is slow and not consistent

I can't predict when it will work like a charm or when the rev match flat out svck. The proper way it should work is when down shift with the paddle, the rpm should blip and match lower gear. Half the time I do that, the engine does not blip and instead it "catches" with the lower gear rpm and jerks. Gets annoying as heck. I never drive on eco btw. Seems better when I have trac off (normally i drive on normal mode). Am i missing something? Anyone else experience this?

I don't always drive in manual. But I think you get the blip if it senses like you're going into a corner which is essentially hard braking. I think a certain amount of Gs registers/threshold and then it thinks you're downshifting and gives you that blip before a turn.

Try braking harder.

At least that's what I experience when driving in auto either sport or sport+.

On freeway when you downshif to pass it never blips.

even in auto mode, down shift with paddles should initial rpm blip to rev match. At least thats how my 370z function.

If your at low rpm it sometimes doesn't bleep the throttle. Or if your being really light on the gas. When i am driving aggressive it works perfect and is instant and when im cruising its smooth and shifts like butter. I love the zf8speed

I drive in sport most of the time. Mine works just fine. Only complaint is that it is a little slow on downshifts, but no issues with rev matching.

Who told you there is a revised software release for the gearbox? There is nothing in TIS about a transmission software update - I have a professional diagnostics subscription, so I can see all the updates.

Maybe the OP is referring to the ECU reflash for the fuel pump?

Thanks for the info! I didn't know it blips when driving. Had the car for a year and rarely drove manual on the freeway.

What I noted that you need to be at full operating temp.

Works Everytime in gears 1-5 in sport/sport+.
