It will only cover factory rims with factory tires.
So if you get vossen rims you won't be covered. I say don't get it or if you already did go cancel it.

I did not purchase the wheel protection insurance either. I thought it was kind of odd that this was the only thing the dealer was trying hard to sell.
It must mean they make a lot of money on this wheel protection insurance.

I have it on my RC. It only covers the factory rims. We have a lot of pot holes in NJ and on my previous car, the rims were always getting damaged due to low profile tiers. The cost of repairs on my own vs. this protection for me was worth it.

I got it on mine. based off past experience, it was a good idea for me. Although i haven't had to use it yet, I know that I likely might

From what I understand, you can still swap out for other factory Lexus rims and still be covered.

It all depends on the dealership. My dealership said it had to be the ones that came with the car.

I bought it and am going to be using it soon. Had to make a hard turn to miss a huge pot hole and ended up with some rash marks on front and rear drivers side. Hopefully it is a smooth process!

Vossen has a lifetime structure warranty and 5 year workmanship warranty. What type of dame do you have?

Will Vossen cover curb rashes and etc.?

I think that is what the Lexus dealer sells and the Lexus dealer will fix curb rash damage NATIONWIDE. This is in addition to any structural damage to the rims. Also the tires too (assuming you still has the minimum required tread left. If you are running on bald tires and have a damaged rim or tire blow out AND damaged the rim, then you are on your own).

I bought it on a used car before and for me it was a total waste of money.
