I'm going back into hibernation until the pricing is announced.

I like it alot. If anything, like others, I need to see the front / spindle grill in person.

Maybe F-Sport in Obsidian will blend it in better?

I have been researching new cars for myself ( getting the itch again) and was thinking of the ISF. If this thing is not too far out I may wait. I want a fast daily driver that will be under 60-65k. The longer we wait the better the options get when we buy again

both threads were about the RC. you don't have to 'scroll through over 60 pages...' - from Car Chat you can click on 'last page' or on the new posts icon. see here:

that's a little of my concern with the front as well as the back and the sides too - maybe too much going on.

the german designs often appear much more 'plain' but there's a lot of subtle details. the rc is not so subtle. it has 'grabbing' appeal, but may not age well. hopefully it will.

I mean..come on, this is a major corporation here, they don't just throw out final production designs because they think it will do well.
I am sure they tested it, but man that front end is god-awful.

i used to think the IS and LS F Sport grilles were hideous, until I saw it in person. Im sure the RC will be the same

granted, the proportions are MUCH better on the LF-LC but the chrome outline/shape of the spindle is very close. also notice the side openings are, again, nigh exact in shape. i suspect the F Sport version with the one piece mesh grille will look better.
I have to agree with LexFather when he says that this is the rare occasion when the actual production car : The RC coupe, turned out to be even more beautiful than the concepts ( both LF-LC and LF-CC).

The attention to the small details in this car is impressive from Lexus.

Can we at least change the thread title to reflect the official announcement and official pictures of the RC eg : Official Pictures on Page 50....

Those turn signals will be very hard to see if the DRLs remain on. They should have just made the whole arrow turn yellow, replacing the DRLs

Speaking of details, this might not impress you guys much, but this was a little cool-factor for me. I was observing the tail light design and wondering why it was designed that way, could be a coincidence, but I saw the "L" in it:

This car looks very much like a Maserati IMO (which is good because I love how Maseratis look).

Honestly I think this is one of the most beautiful cars I've seen. I slept on it last night and I'm really, really digging the look. I wasn't sure about the headlights at first but it's starting to grow on me.

Kudos to lexus to hitting this one out of the park.

I also agree

I hope they don't change it one bit. I will take one as-is

I love this new busy look as the germans are so bland now
