This is so beautiful, it hurts.

It looks so different from the IS sedan and merits a whole new nomenclature unlike the BMW 4 series which just looks exactly like a 3 series minus 2 doors.

AND it's so much sexier than the BMW 4 series which looks like they ran out of ideas after designing the 3 series.

Makes the BMW 4 series look like warmed over leftovers.

Yeah i was really shocked when I saw the BMW 4 series. Someone they simultaneously managed to make it look totally similar to the preceding 3 series and yet ever so slightly uglier at the same time.

I do really like the F10 5 series, though. I think that's one of the most elegant cars in the mid-sized luxury sedan class.

They fixed the cup holder positioning, which not only makes the armrest usable for the front passenger, but likely increases the storage space under same. Wish our interiors were designed this way. :|

Most interesting. Side and rear are very fluid and sporty. And finally some great tailpipe tips for an IS, oops RC. But the front is an overstyled mess. It reminds me of a diseased catfish. And the sloped hood looks too deliberate and squashed. There's simply no grace, class, or timeless beauty with the front. Also notice the same sagging Audi A5 character line, as seen behind the front wheel. Not too original.

Overall, I'm a bit letdown. Front end is just over the top. Maybe it will grow on me.

I have to agree with LexFather.

Bitkahuna as moderator has to be impartial but in this case, in his attempt not to appear to be a Lexus fanboy, I think he's gone all the way in the opposite direction and fallen off the deep end.

That side profile is an unqualified success : beautiful no matter how you slice it. Comparing it to the Mazda 6 just because it has the fastback profile employed by MANY car manufacturers is completely beside the point...

That side profile is AMAZING! Love the side/rear. Although I think the F-Sport // F model's front end would appeal to me more than the one with the slates (aka "luxury model").

i like the overall shape. not sure on the front grille but not hating it, i like the side profile a lot and the rear is quite pleasing in the pics. no matter what, i love the fact that there are more coupes in the lexus lineup, and this one has a proper coupe style and proportion

As an aside, I'm so glad I held off buying the 2013 GS or the 2014 IS.

Both cars though wonderful machines just didn't quite scratch the itch I had inside : I wanted the external sexy styling of the IS F-Sport with the interior quality of the GS AND something even more aggressive looking/sportier looking than either car.

I was so conflicted I was tempted for a while by the BMW 4 series concept (actual production car was such a letdown from the concept car) and even the Audi A6 3.0T ( loved the acceleration, hated the steering).

Now here's a Lexus car which is just incontrovertibly SEXY and BEAUTIFUL, no arguments/justifications required and seeing that it is built off the GS/IS platform, it will handle incredibly and be of the usual high Lexus quality.

This car IS IT!! The only other time I felt such a call tugging at heartstrings was when I laid eyes on my 2004 2nd Gen GS300.

but the interior is pretty close to the IS than the GS? not saying IS interior is bad at all, i have no problem with it. just saying since you wanted something with GS quality
