I spoke with RR Racing today. Looks like they will have a tune out by around March. They wouldn't give me any additional details but hopefully this is something to look forward to!
I was always under the impression (and told) all BMS products default to map 1 unless someone went in there and changed it. but sheddy can correct if i'm wrong.
Thank you for that information! Does TTI have dyno results for the hybrid? Also, I saw their Stage 2+ but it looks like a small bump in a power. I would love to see 280whp+ out of this car if possible and some more TQ with a fix for that nasty lag time for power to arrive. As for OV, I have not seen any of their tune information for this car. Their website shows Toyota trucks but nothing for the IS200t. I will read back through this thread to see if I can find OV tune information with results.
the Dynos are kept unannounced as TTI is still further improving the tune and setup (you can get it directly from them if you wish) the promise is 290~315 WHP based on your setup
ya but unfortunately knowing Toyota they will go ahead and ask BMW to make it for them rather than them investing in it
ThIs motor is fully developed by TRD and will be used in the Cusco Toyota Yaris . I'm guessing they changed the name from TG20 to TRD 8AR. I found a couple more pics on the webs.

ya I really hope this time they continue working in this direction rather than do the same failure on the supra
Hello again everyone.
Sorry you haven't heard from us in a bit. We have been hard at work though!
this forum has some weird navigation.
Anyways. We have a load of stuff on the way for the IS200T
- True fixed fueling (no more stoic until 4000+ rpm)
- Throttle limit disable
- our custom patches, and we will be working with our friends in California to develop a bolt-on and custom coded (in the ecu) Flex Fuel solution. It's already under way.

I’m curious as to what you guys have found the limit of the stock fuel system in terms of power? Any ETA on the flash?
Before the JB4, my car's engine was like a disowned son that dealt drugs for 20 years; slow, unresponsive most of the time, empty on the inside. Thanks to the JB4, the car cleaned up and came back with a Ph.D. I'm no longer embarrassed by base-model Nissan Altimas that don't let me change lanes on the "racetrack".
In all seriousness - I had to tape up one of the connectors because the fit was seriously 1mm away from fitting properly, but I'll be contacting Burger Motorsports to see if they can send another harness. The car feels great and acceleration from any gear actually pulls.... quite hard. I'm dying for more development from Burger, but I know it'll take some more time for them to squeeze out whatever's left in this ******** sized engine. Huge shoutout to Sheddy for the help when I asked about the connector - and huge shoutout to Burger Motorsports for the banging product. If I'm being honest, I think this product is the highest quality bang for your buck.
EDIT: Almost forgot! Shoutout to the hard working Lexus Engineers for handicapping the 8AR platform with software limitations. We really appreciate it! :-)

You’re welcome!
I’ll definitely recommend reaching out to BMS regarding that connector, it’s not the first time I’m hearing about the fitment issue. Enjoy!
