- Will the tune have higher octane fuel limitations, or will it automatically adjust/learn after filling up with minimum manufacturer recommended octane?

- I saw in your blog post that you raised RPM to 7k. Were you manually upshifting in the video, or did the vehicle still upshift by itself?

- Hope every transmission/upshift benefit carries over to the NX, despite it having a different transmission.

The intercooler itself is not really the problem, it is the turbocharger. At high boost pressure, without the throttle limiting flow, turbocharger shaft speed is extremely high and the boost air temperature is very hot.
Where are you reading that temperature from IAT? Just wondering what temperature it's read from to try and mitigate it.

I can't believe how far you guys have come. Keep up the good work.

I changed my spark plugs at 80k miles and immediately noticed a little more pep, so I went back to the track and dropped .4 seconds off my 1/4 mile, same trap speeds. 15.1 @ 91 mph in 80 degree weather vs before when I ran 15.5 @ 91mph in 55 degree weather. Both runs were also with less than 1/4 tank of fuel. My highest trap ever was 92mph which was also tonight, but at higher ET of 15.5. I also ran next to a current camaro (either the 2.0T or 3.6) and he ran 14.9 @ 93 mph.

Where are you located? Those seem like okay times for this car. My 2011 IS350 ran a 14.5 @ 108 at Gainesville raceway.

I'm in St Cloud (central FL), went to Orlando speed world. 108mph seems like a high trap speed for an IS350, I'm guessing your car is not stock? Also, 108mph is good for low to mid 13 second times so your 60ft must have been bad, like a 2.5 60ft or so. I ran 13.5 @ 105 mph in my Z4 M so if you get your launch better you'll def. have a 13 second car.

Sorry I fat fingered on my phone it was 13.5 @ 108. It was about 6 years ago now. I think the 60’ was like 1.7 something. I don’t have the slip anymore. I also don’t have that IS any more. All it had was lowering springs 19” wheels and a Joe-Z intake pipe. Second gen IS350’s are definitely faster than third gens.

Aha! Okay that time makes more sense. I think 3rd gens trap in the low 100mph range, didn't know the 2nd gens were faster, they must weigh a lot less then because the 3IS should have a gearing advantage w/ the 8spd vs the 6sp.

Should, however the transmission logic in the 3IS has torque tables that come into play and can reduce its acceleration. On paper the new 350 should be faster, but in practice that transmission (which is phenomenal in the ISF) is a factory of sadness.

Same is true for the IS turbo transmission (it’s the same unit). Most of us are just as eager to hear about TCM updates with the reflash as we are with throttle response and power improvements. If the transmission is still a sluggish shifting gear hunting mess it currently is with the improvement to the engine it would be a waste.

I've implemented TTI in my European IS300.
After the experience with Racechip box believe me you don't wont to have any other boxes. Wasting of time.
You can reverse to stock anytime as well.
