Now numbers like these seem much closer to what this 2.0T should really be doing! 325wtq // 280whp would do this car justice. Add some e85 and crank those numbers a bit higher
An increase in 5 PSI more (currently at 19 PSI) would do the trick. My VW 1.8T ran 22 PSI with the APR tune and the turbocharger lasted, so hopefully this one can handle it as well.
Here's the video of the boost gauge reading from a dead stop.
Little trick to keep the "trac off" screen from replacing the boost gauge screen. After disabling the traction, press the return button once to go back to the boost gauge screen. While on the boost gauge screen, hold down the return button. trac off Screen pops back up after 7 seconds so just press and hold anytime before that. This will keep the "trac off" screen from popping up. Oh and don't try to turn while holding the button down. 😅
I feel as though the sport mode would not make a difference with this test IMO. I'm allowing the transmission to shift on its own on a straight line, so I'm not taking advantage of the aggressive shifting. I will try it again on sport mode and see if it makes a difference.

You can say that, although I feel this is not accurate enough. The 2000rpm launch does trim that time a bit!

I've been told that they are not great at communication due to being super busy. Try that other email.

Awesome! Hope things are getting better in Houston, we are on the lookout for Irma here in south FL.
Correct sport mode has no effect when the car is floored. It will not make the car any faster and the shifts will not behave any differently under full throttle from a start. And that's the same for just about every car ever made.

I understand thats a safety issue non the less. I just question whether the transmission shifts faster, holds gear longer or if its as responsive when you manually shift. I find i get better 0-60 times when i shift into 2nd at 5.5k, just before torque falls, and in sport mode the transmission doesn't delay or hesitate when i hit my shifter. Can't say the same for normal mode
