I can't wait for a proven tune for this car. I am sure it will be great no matter what because the 200t is already fun to drive around town. Most of 2.0T have good gains from just tunes. I actually did some research into the technology in this engine and they really have some interesting engineering into this car.
Burger Tuning says they are still waiting on connectors. They also say they have good news as far as development goes but won't announce it yet. Maybe more gains? Curious to see how durable and capable these engines are. Wonder how much the turbo can squeeze out safely without over burdening it.
Where did you see this? I emailed them last month and he said "if/when they get connectors they'll make an announcement." The whole IF thing got me thinking that they're not sure they'll even get them.
Glad to see the BMW folks taking the lead. Burger and Dinan. Lexus aftermarket seems to be all about stance and purple lug nuts. I wish this crowd and its aftermarket support was more about performance. =( I guess these companies go where the money is.

To be fair, the ECUs have not be crack-able for the last however many years so I assume people decided to do aesthetic things. That being said, I definitely agree with your sentiments.
Something is needed fast, especially to eliminate this horrible lag, it's almost dangerous the way the car delays throttle response. Good thing I leased this thing, in 2 or so years I'm moving on to the RCF/GSF...

In the mean time you can buy an Apexi throttle controller which helps with the lag a bit by improving throttle response.
