Im looking to get about 50 more horsepower to the engine. I was thinkin bout adding an exhaust, intake(which I have), headers, and a apex neo tune. Will that give me the HP that I'm looking for?? Remember, I'm looking to add 50 to the engine, not at the wheels

Why at the motor? With all those mods you'll gain more then 50 at the motor depending on the tune being done right. Just a SRT intake and ecu they claim on the website "Performance gains: +30HP and +40ft/lb torque." The headers IMO are overkill, they should add more power then your looking for and a rather costly mod for installation

50hp at the motor is less then 40whp. Not worthy of a turbo installation on a car with 300 at the motor to start.

For the same reasons as the turbo its not worthy when the same power can be made from a simple intake, ecu and exhaust. The cost also adds up fast from my experience, where as the other mods will provide power all the time at no addtional cost.

the reason why i want it at the motor is cuz i dont have a lot of money to spend, and adding power to the motor is easier and not as expensive. im looking to add jus a little kick to my GS

I had the srt intake and headers on gs300 it was nice, total out of pocket is about $700 bucks now I'm boosted but the best bang for the buck for quick power is nitrous , with boost you have emissions, and you must maintain a escrow account for the unsuspected surprises. With nitrous the car drives stock and no driveabilty issues the only downside to nitrous is bottle refills it adds up eventually if you're a " Pedal ***** " LOL !!!!!!!!!!!!

whoever stops @ "only adding 50hp"? and how much money will he waste on making just 50 hp compared to turbo'ing?

The majority of the people. Most will add an exhaust , intake and tune and call it a day, never going turbo or nitrous.

The point was he would waste more money installing a turbo just for 40whp which can be had for much less money with simple bolt-on's.
