Default More power IS 350 ?

Not that the car is not powerful but do anybody on this site have upgraded their 350 to gain more power or know how ?
I haven't heard about a turbo or anything yet and I think here's the best place I can get some info about this.

Which turbo is the best for the 350 if there is one, how much hp do it give to the car and the price of all this ?

thanks

There is no turbo to date for the ISX50. Only a handful of superchargers that aren't worth the $$$ for the gains. Your best bets are I/H/E

And I/H/E means Intake, Headers, Exhaust.

Oh I see but intake, headers and exhaust I think this would give like 5 hp lol.

So the best thing is to trade for a IS-F if you want power I guess.

You're the first person to realize that on your own! Most of the time we have to recommend it to others. You'd be looking at about 20HP increase at max.

I would have done it if there would be a way to gain 100 hp or more for about 10k. That would make it as powerful as the IS-F and the difference between the price of the 350 and F when I bought mine was 20k so it would still be a great deal.

But happy to know that there's not a lot of possibility, so I'll just keep what I have. I have the F-sport intake right now. I'm gonna look for exhaust and headers maybe next year, 20 hp is not so bad.

Search for PPE headers. Tanabe, F Sport, HKS, Greddy are the most popular exhausts. All are axle back. Invidia and Megan make mid pipes.

I have no choice but to buy the F-Sport exhaust because in my city the police are crazy about the aftermarket exhausts on cars. Actually I think they have a boner everytime they see a aftermarket exhaust on a car.
I've received 2 156 $ ticket because my winter car (Mazda protegé) have a Mazdaspeed exhaust.

So I would have to buy a F-Sport exhaust on a Lexus dealer and have it installed by them and ask a letter to confirm that the part is legal.

For the headers I can choose any brand, you say PPE is the best ? First time I hear about this brand.

Register as a CL member on Sewell Lexus' site and we get a discount on all OEM parts. I believe only PPE and Megan Racing make headers for the IS. PPE is more popular and there hasn't been much said about the Megan headers.

what about No2...or porting the heads along with the installing headers?? or increasing the displacement some?...these should not require any ecu modding...the factory one should be able to adjust for it?

Carson (L-Tuned Parts) has a turbo that they claim fits the IS350, but they have it listed at $17,000...... Hardly seems worth it at that price.

A few folks have done nitrous with no problems, though you're talking in the 50-65 hp range for pump gas for most of em... (I think HKS350 did an 80 shot on race gas)

Nobody has done anything with engine internals (bore or stroke) because it'd all be custom made parts and machining on a very expensive motor that nobody knows the limits of... several folks have talked about having custom pistons made, nobody's actually done it though... you might could clean the heads up a little, but again, a lot of custom labor, and if staying NA, gains for just head work aren't likely to be impressive.

In general it's just a lot easier to simply get an IS-F instead if the 350 isn't quick enough (and you get a nice transmission upgrade too)
