I have a 2008 IS 350 and absolutely love it but want more power. I've thought about trading it in for an ISF but I'm not a fan of the longer nose and the 35-40k investment.

Is there a supercharger or twin turbo available for the IS 350? If not how can I get another 100-150 horses.

 

Buy yourself a used ISF. There is no practical supercharger or turbocharger application available for the 2IS - certainly not one that will net 150 hp.

Your other option is N2O.

 

lol my brand new is350 cost me 44k. got it for 39k and after the payments i pay about 49k for the car.

 

Sorry to say, but you bought the wrong car if you're looking for 400-450 hp

 

trade in your is350 and get a 335i. smoke an IS F

 

400 hp - 450hp out of this car is a big nononono. The amount of money that your gonna have to put into it and still your not gonna be close to those numbers. Do your self a favor and as ^^ said go 335.

Why? Look at dragtimes and see all the 335 running 11s. I don't see even one IS-F in the 11s. The fastest one is running 12.0 with a 125 shot nitrous.

 

i see is-f killing 335i all the time.

 

not to mention stock is350's killing them as well.... umm what you say chip the 335 and what? you can make anything fast with the proper mods next time say buy a civic and smoke a is-f

 

Anything fast huh? I don't see any IS350 running 12s consistently? You can dump 10k and still not run 11s. So what proper mods are you talking about that can make a IS350 "so fast" that it can beat a modded 335? Please, entertain me.

I don't either, but what makes you think you can have an 11 second 335 for his stated $35k budget. Not even close around here. The going rate for a nice, low mileage model is atleast that, and easily higher.

 

lms supercharger and boost around 7lbs and youll have some fun. or get an old is300 rebuild bottom end. 1 large snail. rebuild and port and polish everything for that 35k and smoke alot more that 335i's. buy mike fate's is300 that is for sale for 18k in he classifides dynos almost 700 at the ground. thats what i wanna do but i cant sell my own damn car lol

 

buy a c6 vette and mod it as much as you desire. you picked the wrong car if you were desiring to do any real aftermarket performance modification.

 

ehhhhhhhhmmmmmmmmmm.... I was running a consistent 12. but then again I had a GREAT nitrous hook up and always had a full bottle that was on.
