Huh!

The engine was broken on 8000+ rpm :
1) a small stopper ring on 1st cylinder broke the piston and cylinder block
2) 4th bearing was crashed (i didn't check clearance myself)
3) all bronze guides was not be honed to proper clearance (0.05-0.06 mm) and valves was lifted up ..

BUT!
New 2JZ-GTE VVT-i short block was ordered from Japan, new custom CP pistons and Ferrea valves was ordered from USA and fresh engine was builded. Also we changed BC 264 cams to 272.

Good news! Dyno passed ))

500+ whp on pump gas and 530 whp on C16 ..

Boost falls from 1.6 to 1.2 on 7000 rpm in both cases. Synapse wastegates SUCKS!! Its opens by exhaust pressure and can't be controlled by boost controller

Now we works to change the gates to Tials MVR 44 ..

I will post dyno charts later.

I've been running the Tial MVR since last summer and it's rock solid, it doesn't fluctuate or leak boost. I'm using a HKS EVC V boost controller.

I am also running the Synapse BOV and it's been working fantastic, I'm 100% happy with it.

But a friend of mine installed the Synapse Wastegate on his Singled GTE and it's doesn't hold at certain pressures, it's a interesting idea in design but it's operation has been very inconsistent.

You've still got a great build, glad to see your back in a running car!

I know a couple sc and supra owners that says the says the samething about the Synapse Wastegate and they switch over to either Tial or Precision on the Dyno .

Nice build OP!
