Default Problem for my Joez street performance exhaust

I just install my joez street performance exhaust(the one with extra cats). The check engine VSC light came up after the shop installed them. is that normal? how do i solve it? i heard there is a thing call o2 sensor adaptor, but i dont' know which one should i get, any suggestion?

After the shop install the exhasut, the left side is much lower then the right side and it's very noticable. How do i make them to be equal?

Need help ASAP

Hi Mark,

The exhaust does not cause any CEL lights. The problem must have occurred with install and possible damage to O2 sensor or wiring.

The rear flanges are adjustable and can be turned to make the Tips sit higher or lower.

Who did your install?? and did you have the code read yet??

- My guess is that it will come back to one of the O2 sensors that were touched during install.

Let us know.

same here no probs with my JoeZ Exhaust... might wanna check that all the clamps are actually tight... mine was a little loose close to the o2 sensors... thus some air could go in... throwing off codes....

the other thing about the one side hanging lower... might want to twist and turn the bolts and make sure all are snug and tight... last resort is stainless steel zip ties

I mean touced as in worked on...

The #1 problem for CEL's after a Full Exhaust install is damaged or mishandled O2 sensors and/or its wiring.

For example if you crawl underneath there and see all the wiring bound up, that would be a key indication of a problem.

What city are you in?? We have experienced installers in NorCal & SoCal...

The Tips are easy to line up.. They are adjustable by design..

There is room for adjustments to those 4 bolts, which will control how high / low the tips sit off the bumper exhaust cut out holes.

For example on my car when we first installed it and took pics, there was a 2 finger gap.. After the exhaust burned and settled in its place, I went back and loosened the 2 rear sections and adjusted as high as I could..

Which is just about a 1 finger gap now...

Perfect if you're running an aftermarket lip and want to adjust how high or low you want the exhaust tips to sit.

The mufflers are not lower than stock. If anything they might be just as high or slightly higher..
They are just a lot more visible since they are polished.
The tip design is finalized for these two versions.

Before adjustment

After adjustment

Passenger Side flange at rear axle section can be turned all the way to the max Left to go higher before tightening..

Drivers Side flange at rear axle section can be turned all the to the max Right to go higher before tightening..

- Vice versa for going slightly lower

It will take some trial & error to get both Tips perfect, but an extra set of eyes helps very much too..

Ok this should be easy....

Who did your install???

If it wasn't Tommy @ Musicbox, I recommend a quick drive over there to see how the install was done..
Tommy has installed quite a few of these here in SoCal and is very experienced with our design.

Including many IS-F systems.

The PTS exhaust fits in the trunk easily... it's 4 sections..

Bringing the OEM exhaust home would have been your only issue.

My BEST suggestion is to take it to Tommy to have him inspect the install and O2 sensos / wiring.

He can easily tell you whats going on.

I was planing to visit Tommy this well as well.

Codes has be read!
number P0157, p0158 and p0606.
both p0157 and p0158 are o2 sensors.
Cause: Low voltage on lt rear o2 sensor. Twisted. Excessive Resistance.
Cost of replacement: 454 plus tax.

What should i do now?
