Has any decibel measurements been taken on either of these exhausts? I'm interested primarily on the street version. Thanks!

Yes, anything is possible...

I would never guesstimate on what kind of potential gains the system might have..

... proper fitment tests & Dyno's would have to be done.

Especially for the AWD model.

 

Also, yesterday I had the time to run a short experiment... "caymandive" and I have been talking about this for about a week..

I'll let the pics explain...

For the record the oem piping in the areas around the O2 sensor and before the oem cats is smaller than 2.25 inches...







The oem front-mide pipe has a total of 4 shield sections, held in by 6 bolts with C-clamps and metal pressed clamps on the shield edges.
I managed to transfer 2 shield sections & 4 clamps onto my new front section...

It takes some effort to get the oem clamps to work on the bigger piping, but nothing major... No cutting involved, just some patience..

I guess it has an oem look to it now, good for SMOG visual in 5 years... LoL..

This was done purely for cosmetic reasons at this point, just in case..

I appreciate your honest and detailed opinion...

On the plus side to your points. The 2 rear axle sections are flanged as you can see in post #1.

There is room for adjustments to those 4 bolts, which will control how high / low the tips sit off the bumper exhaust cut out holes.

For example on my car when we first installed it and took pics, there was a 2 finger gap.. After the exhaust burned and settled in its place, I went back and loosened the 2 rear sections and adjusted as high as I could..

Which is just about a 1 finger gap now...

Perfect if you're running an aftermarket lip and want to adjust how high or low you want the exhaust tips to sit.

The mufflers are not lower than stock. If anything they might be just as high or slightly higher..
They are just a lot more visible since they are polished.
The tip design is finalized for these two versions.

holy crap....muuuuch better. you can hardly tell there were oval tips in there before

i'll personally pop for one once i've seen it dynoed w/ a set of mazzuri headers on. partly because i'm interested to see results, partly because i can afford it then most likely

& the 5axis wheels are hooooot.

i agree.. that why i went custom.. and got my tips tucked perfectly and the muffler arent visable

also my mufflers are painted black ..

 

If you paint these mufflers black, they won't be "visible" either.

They will look just like an other oem or aftermarket muffler thats painted black and sits back there..

 

If you don't see the difference between the before & after pictures, I don't know what to say...

Each rear axle section has 2 bolts, the flanges can be rotated slightly to either lower or raise how the tip sits on the other end.

is it just me or is the right muffler tip at kind of an angle? it looks like its not shooting str8 back, but more out towards the side just a little. maybe its just the camera angle. Lemme know cuz im thinkin about sellin my Blitz and gettin one of these haha. lol my blitz hasnt even been driven yet n im already thinkin about sellin it.
