Uh, what? Snow mode keeps it from downshifting, which is what gives a most definite inaccurate reading. Not sure what you're getting at.
I asked you to elaborate on this cause it reads as you saying using snowmode gives a definite INACCURATE reading which is why I was confused. I was under the impression it gives an ACCURATE one. Sorry, I just pay a lot of attention to grammar.

A downshift will give you an inaccurate dnyo, hence you should use snow mode to avoid that happening.
There's no reason at all to turn snow mode off, it has no impact on the amount of power the engine is producing.

I'm not going to waste time getting into the physics of it, but that's the way it is. Here, take this dumbass for example: he posts a vid of his 350 with Legalis R exhaust and a JoeZ intake claiming 303rwhp.
Totally off considering an intake, exhaust and PPE headers car made 281rwhp.
That was my car btw making 281 (286 peaked! )
PPE is designing a full exhaust too now that will dyno on my car soon as well. I am also working on getting an AEM to see how efficient we can get the car to run. I honestly believe given the right airflow and everything that we can make 300whp thru basic boltons. Either way, nothing wrong with a goal

Nice. I didn't realize you were the OP. Good luck getting to 300! I definitely think it's within the realm of possibility. If I wasn't saving up for a single on the Supra, I'd be modding my 350 as well. Maybe later!

Thanks!! A good friend of mine just bought another single turbo Supra.. You probably know him or know of him.. Ryan Woon? He owns wide open throttle motorsports. He is the reason I wanted a Supra for so long (riding in his cars just seems unreal), however I couldn't pass up the IS350 when it came out (brand new and all) . Someday though I'll try to pick one up! Keep me posted on your Supra! I love those cars so much!

Yeah, haha, Woon's no stranger to the Supra community.
Just had my set of PPE headers with the polished Ceramic coating installed this afternoon!
IT ... SOUNDS ... AMAZING.
Seriously, it's like a brand new IS350, and I could not stop grinning. The surprising thing is that I haven't got a CEL even though the O2 extensions aren't on the car yet. It will be interesting to see if the CEL stays off by itself. I currently have the OEM midpipe and HKS Hi-Power exhaust.
Couldn't feel much of a difference in performance, but I wasn't pushing the car either. Probably took it up to 80, but no WOT.
SWEET bro, keep us posted on that. Im looking at them just not sure about the sound. I have the megan and tanabe and im scared it will get raspy on me. maybe the OEM midpipe quiets it down for you
