This thing is Skery Quick.

Expect your car to take time to "get used to" the new headers. Once they do, a NEW Beast Emerges...Ridiculous Power.
Your typical fan-boy post. "Ridiculous Power" ? Cmon bro, who are you kidding?

What did you get, 12-15whp maybe at most? You call that "a NEW Beast", "Skery Quick", & "Ridiculous Power" ? lol...

I get so sick of reading these Larger then Life post's.

You have serious issues man. Chill the fk out man..

O yeah, smart ***. The first page has a dyno showing 21 WHP gain.

BEFORE HEADERS - 265rwhp and 232 ft. lbs torque

AFTER HEADERS - 286rwhp and 246 ft. lbs torque

GAIN = +21rwhp and +14 ft. lbs torque.

You don't like my post? awww some guy with a screen name of smokyis350 on an internet forum doesn't like me

You got a beef with me, take it to a PM and don't de-rail this thread. And I'll initiate it. You got a PM.

Keeping this ON TOPIC >

My post is 100% accurate. To bad if you don't like it. I'm not afraid to post what everyone else is thinking but wont say.

Case and point: I have added 12whp to my car via F-Sport intake & Exhaust 5whp & 7whp respectively. And you know what? I didn't feel jack! So excuse me for calling BS on this fan-boy, larger then life, "Ridiculous Power" post.

Thats like me saying: "Hey everybody I just installed my F-Sport intake & Exhaust and now my car is a TOTAL BEAST! CRAZY POWER NOW!!!" - what would you think if I posted that, huh, really? ...yeah, exactly, total BS.

And yeah, I saw the 21WHP post, but I would like to see an independent Dyno posted by someone other then AZ JB who we all know is pimping these headers, almost like he works for PPE.

EDIT: And just to clarify... Do I doubt there's gain? No, not at all. But lets keep it real. Its not turning our cars into an IS-F.

Saying "Ridiculous Power" & "TOTAL BEAST" are huge exaggerations to say the least. And if you disagree, then you have your head in the clouds.

Have to agree with MD+2. Ridiculous beast is a ZR1, GTR, LFA...

No doubt these headers do what they say(provide gains), but thats all. As a matter of fact, after I post this I'm going to look into getting these headers(but not looking for my car to become a total BEAST).

haha I bet you are barely pushing 300hp. You never even got a baseline dyno, nor have you ever dyno'd since any of your mods (unless i missed something in the last 3 months). spent 1000's on mods, but never spent 60-75.00 (in which club members will typically pitch in on) for 3 pulls on a dyno to get a baseline.

Maybe to him it does feel like a new "beast". Why do you care so much whether or not someone thoroughly enjoys a new mod to their car. You don't own the mod so you apparently have no idea how it really feels.

And fyi, I am not "pimping" out anything. Whether it's headers, exhaust, intake, or whatever else you want to bring up, I express my honest opinion. If they weren't all that great then you wouldn't hear much from me about it. And I do not work for them or receive anything from them for "pimping" their product as you so eloquently put it.

It's cool though, come make your "cool guy" posts all you want from behind a keyboard. More power to ya buddy.

thought you'd chime in sooner or later.

if you follow any of my post's at all, i get excited for kats around here that get new mods. and I have no hesitation to hold comments back.

i'm glad he likes his headers. i know because i couldn't stop smiling when i first heard how my F-Sport Intake & Exhaust sounded like. mods make our cars from rather boring (like all the other 100% stock IS's you see on the roads) to exciting like some of the nicely modded cars here.

my issue is his fan-boy type statement that it turned his car into a total beast with riduculous power. cmon now. did it turn his car into an GTR or something?

seriously, follow me here. he got maybe what, 15whp, right? since when is 15whp riduculous power?
I got just about that with my exhaust/intake - 12whp (and so did hundreds of other CL members here)... now realistically, in your heart of hearts - do you think it turned our cars into a "total beast" with "riduculous power"?

if you don't want to answer that question, because you know you'll look straight stoopid doing so and proove my point further, go read all the post by OTHER clublexus members that say there's 'no difference' and 'its just for sound'

here's some examples from other theads:

mostly just noise that you'll notice.

so whats the exception for these PPE headers bro? really

FACT: 16whp does NOT turn our car into a beast. and its NOT riduculous power. take the truth pill and swallow it bro!

...and shame on you for trying to promote that it is. its a slight increase in power that can hardley even be felt. confirmed by the above quotes, and there's hundres more I can pull up for you.

a FAR friggin cry from 'riduculous power'

and lastley, i'm considering buying these headers down the road - but you won't see me posting they turned my car into some friggin jet with riduculous power

EDIT: and chill with your 'tuff guy behind a keyboard' comments. we all know this is an internet forum. we all know nobody is going to fly cross country to get into a fist fight over a headers debate.

i will tell you this though, i'd tell you right to your face, at a car show, meet or wherever, that 16hp gains are NOT riduculous power gains
