Yep, especially here in California. I've heard of people having their cars impounded for no cats.

wow that sucks, my car smells so toxic , if u drive behind it you can smell it.

Recently got my PPE headers installed 2 weeks ago...so far no CEL, did not use the O2 sim... or the magnaflow high flow cats. Haven’t dyno yet but will when my ECU relearns my boost. Did notice it does feel like it pulls more...noise from stock it barely noticeable (I’m running stock exhaust system)

I'm going to be ordering ppe.headers and I don't want to have that bad smell in my car wen sitting at a light , so do you guys recommend the high flow cats, and is it going to hurt the performance at all!?

I am currently CAT-less and have had not issues with any smells. However, you are NOT going to see or feel any performance issues with high-flow CATs. Present-day HFCs are no where near as debilitating as they used to be.

Thanks, guess I'm going by me having a built gsr in a hatch and had a test pipe and I hated the smell , appreciate the quick.response thanks agian! I'll be doin the cats, worries about te sound also I love how it sounds now and don't want it to sound different. .
