2jzgtte swap 6 spd
A decent amount of custom fabrication. You're looking at an minium of $10-12k(for parts/labor) and that's factoring that you find a 2JZ-GTE motor/6spd trans combo in good shape. Also, factoring in a stock engine and clutch...so you'll be at what the stock setup can handle which is about 400whp at most if you max out the boost. At that price, it's just for a stock setup. If you want more power and decide to upgrade the manifold, single turbo, fuel system, clutch upgrade, upgrade ecu, exhaust, front mount, etc...that will easily rack on another $10-20k+ depending on how crazy you go with everything lol. The upside is that the engine in stock form is capable of handing 800rwhp+ daily, and the transmission has been proven to handle in excess of 1500hp+ but only if you have a very strong clutch
I have one and jeff is close on pricing.

6500 engine set
couple grand on parts
lsd/gear
pedals
intercooler
exhaust
400 hundred to the wheels is fun for a stock set up and the v160 with proper gear sure gets moving above 100mph lol

thanks for all the info i first would like to get the swap done stock then build up but ill love it stock. i am planning on getting a new getrag 6 spd tranny for 6 from trd japan i was also weondering what lsd you would need how hard is it to custom make a nice shift **** and leather boot fitment and how hard it is to mount evrything
Shift assembly will have to be custom fabricated. Clutch pedal will also have to be custom fabbed because this car never came in a manual, there are no mounting points or holes in the firewall for the master cylinder. You will also have to custom fab the dash area for the shifter. You will lose the cupholders
The manual swap is difficult but worth it, if you need some random parts let me know. Ask and I might just have it. I have a ton big, small, and random spare parts left over from when I did my swap.

Theres 3 shops in Houston that I know can do the swap, it's gonna cost a grip though. Engine swap is nothing compared to doing a auto/manual swap.
Secret Service - Did MrExecutiv (cl sn) swap, looks super clean.
Team Shift Point (Pearland) - Is highly known for supras and 2jz-gte swaps very knowledgeable. I would probably go to these guys b/c I'm bias.
Theres a shop off BW8 and Hammerly forgot the name but the guy is legit too he's done some SC3 2jz-gte swaps. Some CL members have gone to him too.
I'm not 100% sure but if I remember correctly to do just the engine swap and aristo auto tranny that was gonna cost 1500 (labor only). Manual tranny swap was gonna cost like 5k+ to do because you would need to replace the rear diff, axel, etc. and fab up a lot of stuff.

thanks bro so just for the manual swap its a extra 5000 in labor i think it may be worth it to have a sik six speed twn turbo monster its just a sporty upgrade so what do you think it would be for the swap with parts and labor from these people i want to go to someone who has done the swap before i want my **** to look clean and custom do you think i could get custom gauges hooked up from one of these shoops i would also like to have a boost gauge in the cluster

as far as the pedals, what have you guys (that have done the 6spd swap) gone to for the clutch pedal, master cylinder? how about the brake pedal?
will the foot rest be in the way at all of the clutch pedal?
i know tilton sells aftermarket clutch pedals with master cylinders.. just seeing if that's what you guys were possibly using.
also do the 6spd bolt right in to the shifter console? i take it, custom drive shaft?
it's almost better to buy the cheapest GS you can find and then do the swap? between the GS400 and GS300 if you were to buy a 2jz-gte 6spd combo, would it matter which car you had? or would they both be pretty much the same?
are the motor mounts the same as the SC'300, 400's?

I just tried to do this. Don't waste your time and money on the V160 unless you want the cool factor. the R154 tranny should be more enough and at a faction of the price. as far as pedals you can get away with the IS300 manual pedal set and master cylinder. with the is300 manual brake pedal. thats not to say there won't be some dickering that goes along with the install because yes there are no holes of the master cylinder/ manual pedal. I have 99 percent of the parts needed for the manual pedal swap. pm me if interested.
I was building a all track GS with V160 when i decided to go LS1/t56 5 months ago and was going to switch to full CNC hydro pedal set up. so i have the stock parts for sale.
other then the pedal set up a tranny mount, driveshaft and some interior mods for fit and finish and your done. if you go r154 you'll need a 1JZ bell housing to match up with the 2JZ.

The V160 is not a waste, the R154 can only hold a maximum of around 700-800rwhp and thats with the beefed and uppgraded internals. I guess not everyone here is shooting for the 1kHP+ club like me
