I just bought a 1998 Gs300, and it throwing the code p0441= EVAP control system. Does any one on here know how can i diagnose that code.. So i don't have to waste money to go to the shop. I would like to do it my self.. Plz help i need to get rid of this code so i can smog for registeration... Plz help ty..

 

There are a few Lexus techs who are on this board. Wait for them to chime in to help you with this issue. Debonair is pretty good with responding to issues like this.

 

i have the same code right now, Mine is the charcoal canister is leaking.

p0441 is evaporative emission control system incorrect purge flow.
don't know what it means... havn't gottin this light yet..

 

it can be numerous of things due to the evap... hit da search button
