hey iwanted to get the hks ti system exhaust but it only comes in rear section. does anybody know how much more power id get from replacing the other half section?
not much... the stock mid-pipe (b-pipe) is pretty good
that's why many of the exhausts only come as "axle-back" systems
if you want to go w/ full cat-back, try tanabe, greddy or apexi, but you'll notice that for the most part, the mid-pipe still has some kind of resonator
if you want to maximize your hp, go to a muffler shop and have them make a straight pipe
also, you don't mention whether or not you're changing out headers or y-pipe..?!? just don't expect too much hp increase from just the rear exhaust; mostly you'll get some sound and a few top-end hp
Hey, I'm new to the forum, but just fyi I bought an HKS cf-ti axle back, and I also got hooked up with a b-pipe that replaces the 3rd cat with a resonator...as far as power gains, you probably won't notice much in lower speeds, but if you have a functional intake, its a decent gain in the highway speed topends, and sounds great.
You can purchase the HKS CF-Ti exhaust system from www.lextasy.com. Comes with the b-pipe, not just the rear section. Mine just arrived yesterday, having it installed tomorrow 10:00AM. Will let you guys know how it is.
i just bought exhaust yesterday used from a ymis member he threw it in with my wheels but he said its the same as the HKS and that it isnt to loud ill let you guys know how it turns out
