How loud is the sc300 without mufflers?

Is there anyway to "gut" a stock muffler? That would be sweet if my SC sounded like it did now, but still had mufflers.

PS. Im still workin on that vid clip...Ill get it sometime soon

I just took the mufflers off my SC3 and it sounds awsome.

You can gut them, but not without opening up the muffler then rewelding it shut. Also, from a performance standpoint, it will likely be not so good. When the gasses hit the muffler with none of the galleys or resonators, the gas will expand to fill the space, then hit the back walls and start bouncing around building up pressure. all the gas-gas turbulence will probably flow a lot worse than the turbulence induced by the muffler as it comes. Within the muffler, the walls inside give the gas direction so that flowback is minimized. Without that direction the gas will flow in random direction.

plus it will probably sound horrible.
