Wireless charging not working
I’m having same issue with my iPhone 13 pro. Charges for a few seconds then stops charging. If I move the phone a bit it will start charging and then stops again. It is irritating to pay for a wireless charger and it is unusable. I will contact Lexus about this- not that they don’t already know this is a problem. Great idea to let the reviewers know. They may have some influence over Lexus coming up with a solution. I may be dreaming though. I’m using a cord when I want to charge my phone. Others have mentioned their phone getting warm and mind is doing that too as if it is charging.
I complained the wireless charging problem to the dealership. They were not willing to fix it and claimed that there were no new part to fix the problem. Thanks to LSFT's video (
) and I got the part number. The service advisor still hesitated to help. He said he needed to contact Lexus warranty and asked me to send in a video to proof the problem. Finally, I received an reply and they are willing to replace it.

I saw LSFT's video awhile back and had the parts department verified that it was a superseded part. I think coming in the service with telling them it is not working and parts debts had verified a new part is available made it harder for them to decline replacement this time.
Thanks LSFT!
Just got my 22 350h wireless charger replacement approved today. Finally. Parts on order. I had gotten the usually 'working as designed" when I first asked for repair in August 22.

If you want more info, search forums, already a whole lot of good discussion.
YMMV,

We picked up my wife's 2024 Lexus NX-350h in January. (She loves it!) During the test drive, at least the Lexus Salesman was honest about the wireless charging pad - referred to it as a "Cell Phone Maintainer", not a cell phone charger. Pretty accurate!
I think the 2024 model has the newer revision charger. The 2022 and possibly the 2023 would disconnect really bad. Same with the earlier RAV4s.

I am actually content with the new replacement charger being a slow charger even under load. It will help keep the phone from getting hot, which is good for battery. Even my Apple MagSafe puck heats up the phone, IMHO, more I like. I am not looking for the NX to be my fast charger.
On my 15PM, I typically just use the new 80% max charge setting for extended battery life.
I use an Otterbox Defender "slim" Magsafe case, so hopufly I will still get the good results of LSFT with my 15PM with case. If I have a problem, I will post later.

My short experience is that when using WIRELESS Android Auto (haven't tried Apple carplay), two things:
1. The Wi-Fi HAS to be on. When I turn the Wi-Fi OFF, Android Auto shuts off.
2. The use of the Wi-Fi drains the phone more quickly and as a result it's trying to charge but then the Qi Wireless charger heats it up so much that it stops charging.
Not the end of the world but frustrating, nonetheless.

Wireless charging has been hit and miss for both my Samsung S21 and new S24. It seems to start OK and then, after a while, I see a flashing light which suggests intermittent charging. If I really need my phone to charge I revert to the cable as the wireless charging is too unreliable.
