Wireless charging not working
I have an iPhone 12 Pro Max and honestly the charge is so weak that my phone is losing power while on the pad. It's off then on then off then on.... Pretty worthless feature right now. I think I'll eventually take it to the dealer when they have a remedy.
It doesn’t work on my 350h either. I have an iPhone 12. Try it with case on, case off, turn it around on the charging pad… no matter what, it charges for maybe a minute and then stops. Can’t get it to stay charging no matter what I try. Really frustrating.
Also having the problem of the driver profile not loading about half the time when I get in. Forced to go through the prompts and put in the PIN. And I’m the only driver/profile.
Those are the only two major bugs I’ve found so far. Everything else is working great.

I have found there is a higher profile acceptance rate if the phone is in the car when the car is started. If I remote start the car I always see the Guest profile prompt and I need to dismiss it and then select myself as the driver.
This isn’t the case for me. My phone/digital key is in the car with me 100 percent of the time, but my profile successfully loads less than 50% of the time. My issue isn’t with the fact that my profile not loading prevents me from having my preferred seat adjustments. My issue is that when my profile doesn’t load I’m unable to use Apple CarPlay. When my profile doesn’t load/guest mode is engaged, I’m unable to connect my phone via Bluetooth either to the Lexus interface. As someone who needs to speak in the phone while driving for business, this is a catastrophic problem that has persisted for over a month.

So even when your profile doesn’t pull up automatically, you can’t input your PIN to retrieve it? That’s what I’ve had to do the half the time the profile doesn’t load. But then the other day I couldn’t access my profile at all. I’d enter my PIN, I’d see “success” light up, but it just sat there… nothing would load. I stopped at a few places and would try after I had turned the car off, same problem. Then after about my third stop with the engine being turned off/on, my profile came right up like it should. I know there are bigger problems out there in the world… but really frustrating. Hoping there is an update they can send out to fix it.
Correct. I enter my pin and it still doesn’t bring up my profile and I’m unable to access CarPlay or connect my phone manually to the Lexus interface.
Sounds like new NX owners need to report the charging and profile issues to the dealers so they can address these issues asap. I wonder if there needs to be be a recall and have the charging tray replaced.
Loading my profile has been more consistently lately. However I do wish there was an option to default to a certain profile instead of guest mode. I also wish there was an option to disable the PIN requirement when loading a profile.
There may be a way through software to boost the wireless charger’s power.

have you reported this to the dealership? I am having the same problem and I reported it to the dealership. since my iPhone thirteen Pro will charge without the case, my service advisor said it was a design problem and that I should call Lexus about this. Even though my phone will charge without a case, this is not a good situation because without a case the phone will slide around on the charger. When I talked to Lexus they said that anyone having this problem should call and report it to Lexus.

they indicated that they would need plenty of feedback before they would acknowledge and take action on the problem. If nobody complains then they don’t realize they have a problem.
This may be beating a dead horse, but could coil position have something to do with it? The reason I am asking is that my friends Honda Civic (2022 touring) is very particular with the orientation of the phone. Honda has stated that “it’s the design of the phone that affects the charging performance”.
