Just noticed this after three years
After three years, I just discovered this. If I enter the vehicle and put on my seatbelt without touching the start button first, the seat adjusts and the accessories turn on. I then just need to hit the start button once to start the engine. Prior to finding this I was always to pressing the start button first, then putting on my seat belt and then pressing the start button again to start the car. Maybe you al know this already but it was new to me. Also, as I have posted in another thread the PIN popup request continues to be an issue for me. My only solution has been to drive as a Guest to no longer be disturbed by the PIN popup. As a guest I am still able to fully use Carplay and I don't see any feature I am missing by not driving under my profile.

My PIN request always occurs in the same geographical area so I believe it is caused by a weak cell signal. I wish they would just allow us the option to turn off this "security" feature as I don't know what information it is protecting. If someone steals my car, I would have more issues than whatever the lack of the PIN would reveal.

Yes especially on hybrids, push brake and immediately hit start. That will give you a complete startup as soon as possible allowing the car to start to charge 12 volt right away. They tend to have the 12 volt drained while sitting around and the last thing you want is to finally get around to hitting the start and you've brought the 12 volt down too low to allow a startup.
Just to update. Fastening my seatbelt does not actually turn on the ACC as I first thought. It does cause my seat to be adjusted to my saved position. So now I first fasten my seat belt and then start the car. Only need to push the Start button once.
