Default MPC remote start 2016 200NXt

1st time Lexus owner. Attempting to install MPC remote start for my wife . I get the module to program and flash blue. But it doesn’t recognize the key fob and cannot start the vehicle with the regular push button start. Disconnect T harness and all works, like it should. Has anyone had a similar problem and found a solution?
Thanks,
Matt

Does the remote start work in itself after programming? I've installed quite a few MPC kits both PTS and keyed cars and never ran into this issue.

Thanks for the reply. No, it doesn’t work with the remote start hooked up, with the key fob or the push button . I was wondering if I did something wrong as far as my vehicle connections go

Hmm sounds like you used the T harness and from what I remember that was really all you needed for the remote start to work. I will say that mine is randomly not working. I haven’t had the time to try and figure it out.

Yes it’s the T-Harness, I should of specified that. That doesn’t sound too promising, an intermittent remote start

After you install it, is the steering wheel locked? That will prevent a start from both remote start and PTS with key. If not:

My bet is something went wrong while programming or the wrong firmware was loaded (unlikely but I had it once from MPC, dud on a Highlander install). You connected it in two places right? BECU and steering lock harness?

I didn’t try the steering wheel, but once I removed the T-Harness and module it started rt up.

Yeah, you might be on to something with the firmware. I’m waiting on their tech to get back to me, again.

i connected it in 2 places. Their locations on the connection points wasn’t the best

Default New replacement module and T Harness same result

Thanks for all the feedback! A few more questions for you gurus. Does the power for the MPC module come from the ECU connector? If it does, then I’m on the rt connector for the ECU. Does anyone have a location and pic of the steering lock connector., 2016 200NXT? I’m starting to feel like this might be an operator error on my part.
Thanks

It should get power from the BECU harness which is the one the goes by the fusebox. The steering lock connector (smaller one) is connected right where the steering lever is to change the height of the steering wheel, you have to pull the covers to see it.

Big thanks for the feedback! I had the panel around the steering wheel off. But I had the connector for the steering lock plug hooked up to the rt of the steering wheel.
From your info, sounds like operator error. I will try this again tomorrow.
Thanks again for sharing the knowledge

It's on the right side of the underside, sorry I was not clear, just wanted to give you the general area, if I'm not mistaken, there's only one plug in that area thats exposed or else you're by the steering wheel itself.
