Wow, this is probably the only time I will be ahead of the game with my Nokia windows phone. Wireless charging is so convenient. It's really surprising to me that this would be Incorporated before the iphone had it. Maybe Lexus knows something.

Wind noise is good on mine. RX F-Sports in Canada however do not have the roof racks which have been notorious for adding a little wind noise especially if there are cross bars. That could be it.

On that note, the NX has a very low-profile aerodynamically shaped roof rack (if you even can call it that) with no cross bars. I suspect no wind noise generated from this.

EDIT: If you plan on getting one this year, reserve one as soon as possible. If the US is in the same boat as Canada, only a handful will be available in 2014. I'm reserving mine tomorrow!

nx still seems very small inside from what i've seen... but still looks like a great job by lexus and an almost certain winner.

And if there is swirls, basically it will show up in the machined wheels and there is not much polishing you can do to remove them when compared to painted ones.
Lexus has done machined wheels before, we had a Lexus with a set of machined wheels (the 98 LS). No issues over 170k miles.

Just as I thought. NX replaces the RX from wince it began. If current 3RX is 187" then 190" is plausible for 2016.

Especially with the new Highlander at 191" I'm afraid the new RX will be made into a family bus with 3 rows/8 seats. I hope not.

I totally overlooked the roof rails. They are flat on the roof with no space between the roof and the rail like the RX. These should be a lot better on wind noise. I see on one photo there are 4 holes on the inside of the rail for cross bars. These are similar to the new Highlander.

I've never had a complaint about wind noise in my RX 450h.

182" is not confirmed but my guess would be that (2 inches longer than the RAV4).

Two more observations:

1. No sunglasses holder - and why does that rectangle look like an LCD screen more than a light cover???
2. Extended rocker panel doors a la RX and Venza.

I've got $60,000 here waiting for them if it has three rows. I hope it is

My issue with these flush roof rails (I have them on my Jeep) is...what do you do with a christmas tree?

You should have seen me the first Christmas, I had just bought the Jeep...drove out to get my tree and strap it on top of my SUV...nowhere to tie it down. May as well have no roof rails!

Why not buy a GX or a LX then? No need to bastardize the RX.

You just add some cross bars for tie downs.

Agreed, I've got 2 on my sun visors now also..

CUV/SUV right?

I just wish the wheels were 19s and the black wheel fender trim was non-existent - which adds to the perceived wheel gap. Hmmm...Plastidip...

Well...the LX is $90,000+...little out of my range. The GX is truck based, and the interior is not nearly as adaptable/comfortable as a unibody 3 row SUV would be. What I want is something like an MDX/QX60...but in the Lexus package as neither of those really does it for me 100%.

If its the GX that winds up being what I want...fine...but I don't see Lexus selling two 2 row crossovers within a few inches of each other in size. My guess is the next RX will have a third row. It doesn't need to be "bastardized", just needs to be a few inches longer to accommodate an optional third row. An MDX is only 6" longer than the current RX.

You just add some cross bars for tie downs.
For $250+ for something I'd use for that one purpose every year.

IMHO a Sport Utility Vehicle needs to retain some of its UTILITY. Just a little gap in those roof rails and you could tie a christmas tree down to them.
