I don't think Lexus should be an aggressive brand. Well maybe just their F-sport models. But the standard vehicles should always have the signature Lexus finesse & elegance that they've always had..

Not sure what to think yet, in same video they had RC-F and it looked mellow as well :-)
Yes, I agree. Younger generations are moving on up

Times have changed and I like lexus new aggressive direction.

If you don't want aggressive, there's rav 4, highlander, and decaf RX

Powertrains?

I doubt it will have the same Rav4 4-cylinder engine.

Hybrid? For sure. 4-cylinder hybrid like the ES-h, or 6-cylinder hybrid like the RX-h? Most likely the 4-banger hybrid only. Can the NX be a hybrid only option like the CT? I doubt it; read on...

Electric? A possibility since the old Rav4 has it. And if sharing the same platform, Tesla would benefit having a CUV along with the Model S. (I still think Lexus should make an all-electric GS just like the Model S.)

V6? A possibility since the old Rav4 had it, and could be used exclusively for the new NX and not the Rav4. Perhaps this would be the NX-F version?

The only two trademarks that I am aware of is NX200t and NX300h.

Note that is the standard car and not the F-sport which will resemble the concept more.

This really does looks great and is a nice balance between concept and reality. Now if only the F-sport got a bump in hp... I'll pay extra for that... I love the IS350 F sport but without a power bump from my 2006, I'm just going to wait for the new motors that I know are coming even if they cost more. This NX200T might replace the IS350 as my daily driver as I'm getting tired of waiting.

I think it looks really good too. I would gladly pick this over an Acura RDX and Infiniti EX (QX50).

I had the "old" RAV4 V6. It didn't look aggressive, but it drove like a bat out of hell if you lead-footed the gas pedal (it also generated "torque steer" with sudden acceleration). Per everything I've read about the NX hybrid version, it's expected to be a little longer than the RAV4 and have the most recent Camry power train, with a 2.5 L Atkinson ICE producing a combined 200 hp with the ICE and EV working together. Depending on the car's weight, this should provide sufficient power for merging onto freeways and passing. I've also read that the center console will run the length of the passenger cabin, which if true would make the NX CUV a four-seater. That would probably deter some buyers. Then there's the question of ride smoothness and quiet.

Remove those small uninspiring wheels with something closer to the gorgeous concept's, put an F-Sport grill on it and I may trade it in for my RX F-Sport.

Default Looks too much like a Lexus GX

It looks way too much like the cross between a GX and an IS. The headlights straight from the IS and the grill is definitely from the GX470. They should have stuck with the prototype!! This is definitely a down-grade from the RX450H. Hopefully the interior looks better!!

i doubt it looks anything like GX, but sure, it will be down-grade from new RX... RX is one step above NX, so comparing 2015 RX vs 2015 NX, RX will have to be more luxurious, since it will be significantly more expensive.
