and fwiw, with driver seat in my driving position (i am 5' 7"), the 2nd row has plenty of space including leg room. if anything, it's the headroom that got compromised (compared to rx) imho.

Especially in F-Sport trim.
i also think the nx fsport looks better than the rx fsport. i think it's a move to capture different audience which makes sense imho

it would be fun to figure it out.

1. HVAC controlls - under temp, Euro spec has seat heating + cooling controls?
2. First two controls from the wheel to the left (not seen here), are rear seats electric drop (left+right).
3. 8 buttons... anyone want to figure these out?

Rav4 starts at $23.5k. So I'm guessing at least a $10k premium. I would say mid $30k.

The NX F-Sport grill is much more sporty and quite a difference from the RX F-Sport grill which is really close to the non F-Sport RX grill..
However,I like the NX hybrid grill much more.

Maybe top out at around $43K loaded with HUD and adaptive cruise.
Another $2500 for the hybrid.

Meh I'd rather go for an RX but I think our next SUV will be a Range Rover Sport. Hands down the most comfortable SUV I have driven.

rominl could really tell us more about:
- extra wide HUD
- panoramic cameras
- seat memory (is it on the seats?)
- anything else thats interesting - like how it feels and looks in real life.

Off topic, but after looking at the pricing for midsize SUV, I can see why the RX is the best selling car in its class.

RX
Starting at $40,795

MDX
Starting at $42,290

QX70
Starting at $45,850

M-Class
Starting at $47,790

X5
Starting at $52,800

very possible. as i mentioned in the article, there will be 2nd row powered folding, so there will be buttons in the trunk area for that. i am just not sure if they will have it up front on the driver side too.

i can see them targeting different audience. my feeling is the fsport version can try to steal people from bmw / audi

i am not really a fan of comparing starting price, which is quite pointless across brands imho. historically, lexus always have higher starting price. but once we get to similarly equipped vehicle, lexus is in general cheaper

a few things that i want to confirm with lexus first, but in the meantime, here's the article we put up on more subjective views and feel of the car

SUV pricing does not work that way at all. It will likely be priced like IS - from $37k to $50k, maybe even more for hybrid.

X3 28i is $58k with all the equipment thats already visible in top end NX, with some missing.
I dont expect Lexus to undercut BMW by $15k.

those two buttons can be seen on hooveys pic, sure look like seats on the pic... I think Land Cruisers have similar buttons.
