Official Lexus NX thread
lol further cost cutting to rid of the motor, haha. Since it looks like it should pop up
It is also now standard, at least in Europe, despite them lowering the price substantially. Before screen only came with nav, which was very expensive and not many people got it. So they are now giving it for "free" compared to old model, i guess not really cost cutting... they used Yen value to boost the equipment levels.
Looks like lexus is making the display audio with the rotary dial standard across the line, which is good. I wish they make the remote touch controller standard as well. Its as if lexus can't make up their minds about what type of controller to use
yeah, they made it thinner so kind of looks like tablet or something... since none of the germans actually popup, reviews of new CT200h from Europe say that it finally looks great (the screen), which is funny.

well yeah, since Toyota's in Europe have standard display audio on 95% of the models, it was silly for Lexus not to have it. I mean for Auris and Yaris, only fleet versions dont not have it standard - all others do, while CT200h, a lot more expensive, didnt have it standard but part of very expensive nav/ml package. So 2014 CT200h got a lot more standard kit, plus they lowered the price... now it is good deal for what you get, wasnt for a while.

Back on topic, I'm getting concerned - we're one day prior to the Geneva Autoshow and no word yet on the production version of the NX...
Well, I hope LexFather is wrong,
but being realistic, from a marketing standpoint and as Hoovey2411 stated, makes sense to NOT have two debuts in one show as it will dilute the reveal one from the other. I don't think it would be due to fixes or changes since the unveiling of prototypes are always "subject to change" in some details.

What they reveal as Production always has the disclaimer it's a prototype in case of any minor tweaks (you might be mixing up prototype with a concept vehicle). So take for example the Production RC F recently unveiled, and notice how they were not specific on hp numbers "in excess of 450 hp" - this could be as conservative as 460 hp or as wishful as 480 hp as my guesstimated range. They're doing some final tweaking likely to meet EPA, emissions, certification, etc while attaining the max hp possible.

It's all semantics I guess. The car industry just covering itself. It's really a prototype production vehicle then. I'd say this prototype needed more work on it. Because holding it back doesn't make sense to me. I could care less about the RC and have been waiting for the NX it seems a long time. It two different customer bases.
