the interior blow me away, if this is priced lower or about the same as rx, this will be my next car.
Start writing up the deposit cheque since it WILL be cheaper as it is slotted to be the RX's baby brother. My educated guess, expect about a $35K starting price.
I know this maybe a minor concern, but I hope they keep the wing mirrors style of the current RX. I really do not like the new style of wing mirrors Lexus is using. They look tacky, lack finesse & elegance that is expected of Lexus..
I felt the same way about the new mirrors at first, but they actually have grown on me and now I prefer them.
on the GS & LS they've at least glossed out the black plastic part. But on the 3IS it's just matte black plastic and it just looks bad. Also they don't give you much viewing area compared to the the ones on the 2IS etc

Well I think the ones on the 2IS look like Dumbo ears, so it's all a matter of personal preference. With a growing number of blind spot monitoring systems, I think manufacturers feel they can get away with smaller mirrors to gain some aerodynamic efficiency as well.

I do agree that the painted back looks better than the matte black on the IS and ES.

Hmm... So as I'm keeping a close eye on the new NX, I felt the NX would be priced in Canada starting around 38K Cdn or so (like the IS) which is not unreasonable seeing that a fully loaded RAV4 is 34K. However, I'm having second thoughts now because of the large bump in price of the '15 RX. The base '15 RX is now the "RX SportDesign" which has the F-Sport-like front bumper like the Sport Appearance package offered in the US from 2013. The price also jumps $4.5K though power leather seats with memory is the main difference and is now standard. The F-Sport jumps about $3.5K.
With all this said, this provides hints on what Lexus is likely planning. Is Lexus making room to price the NX in the low 40Ks Cdn? Is Lexus making the transition to an even more premium and possibly larger 7-passenger '16 RX... ?
