Default To blend or not to blend?

After a hit-and-run accident I brought my car to the Lexus dealership for repairs. They replaced the door and the front fender and repainted both panels. However, they have not blended the rear door and the hood like they quoted. The color is extremely close to the original, but at a certain angle I can see that it's tiny bit more yellow and tiny bit darker than the original white color. So my questions is should I ask the Lexus dealer to repaint/blend hood and the rear door or keep the original paint on those panels? Pros and cons? It will not be an additional cost to me.

Why not? I can’t see a disadvantage here.

Are the panels with original paint in pristine condition, meaning no swirls? Panels that are not perfectly polished can look slightly different (usually a bit lighter). But it sounds like the tint is off, if so what choice do you have but get other panels blended.

Was finding used parts in the came colour an option?

The panels with original paint are in very good condition, but are not pristine and have a few tiny scratches that can be polished out. I guess the other choice would be to live with the slight difference in color and leave original panels as is. My thinking was that the original paint is probably higher quality than whatever they'll do at the dealership. On the other hand at least two panels on the car don't have original paint, so it may not even matter any more.

I did not consider that option. It may have been an option then, but not now.

By all means have the paint blended lest you will be forever kicking yourself otherwise.

Yeah, I was not too happy to see the slight color difference and now all I look at when I go to my car is that color difference. Thanks.
